BCU White Water Safety & Rescue |
The BCU White Water Safety and Rescue is a two-day course which covers all the basic safety and rescue techniques required for white water paddlers of any experience. We’ll use our vast experience of paddling a variety of white water styles with groups of differing abilities and dynamics to tailor the course to give you the practical experiences most useful to you and your paddling buddies. BCU 3 Star White Water : Training |
This course will take you through everything you need to prepare for your 3 Star White Water, progressing your personal skills, group awareness and safety skills. The award shows that you are a competent grade 2 kayaker, able to paddle such waters as part of a peer-group of similar ability with a good understanding of potential hazards and how to deal with them. You will leave the course with an action plan to progress your paddling further and moving towards a successful assessment. Pre-reqs: Some experience of grade 2 white water. Duration: 1 day |

With the option of a straight 1 day assessment or a combined 2-day training and assessment, you can be confident that we’ll take the time to look at your personal skills, group awareness and safety skills, with our experienced coaches giving you guidance on any weak areas.
